SEMOLINA VERMICELLI I( SUJI VERMICELLI)





SEMOLINA VERMICELLI

Preparation Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 10 min
Serves : 4 ppl


INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

Ghee
1 tbsp
Carom Seeds
1 tsp
Onion
1 Medium sized(Sliced)
Potatoes(Boiled)
1 Medium sized(Diced)
Peas
150 gm or 1/2 Cup
Vermicelli (Semolina)
1 Cup
Water
1.5 Cup
Salt
2 tsp
Turmeric Powder
1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp



STEPS TO TASTY SEMOLINA VERMICELLI
  1. Dry roast the vermicelli , till it become golden brown. Keep it aside.
  2. In a kadhi or Pan , add 1 tbsp of ghee. 
  3. Add carom (Ajwin) seeds to it. Saute a little.
  4. Add sliced onions, saute it, till it seems translucent with slight brown edges.
  5. Add all the spices (Salt+ Turmeric + Red chilli)
  6. Now add Potatoes and Peas , saute for 1 min.
  7. Add 1.5 Cup water to the kadhi, let it boil.
  8. As the water starts boiling, add roasted vermicelli to the kadhi.
  9. Cover the lid and cook it for 5 min, at medium flame.
  10.  Remove the lid, check if it is done, else cook for another 2 min.
And here you are with your super delicious and healthy breakfast. Enjoy..!
