STEPS TO INSTANT VEG BIRYANI
Thoroughly wash the rice and soak it for 1/2 an hour , similarly soak nutri – nuggets in warm water for the same duration.
In a Pestle , roughly grind all the dry spices together except cumin seeds.
Take a pressure cooker, Add ghee.
Now add all the dry spices in it starting with bay leaf and cumin seeds.
Add (Black Cardamom +Green Cardamom+ Black Peppers+ cloves+Cinnamon )
Saute a little, Now add Sliced onion, let it cook for 2 min.
Add all the Veggies ( Potatoes +Carrots+ Cauliflower+Beans + Peas). If you want to add tomatoes . Add in this step only.
Add Turmeric powder, salt, Red chilli powder and garam masala to it.
Saute a bit, then add nurti- nuggets also.
Add soaked rice to it.
Cook for 2 min, gently mixing the rice and veggies.
Add Water. Cook till 1 whistle, then cook at low flame for 5 min.
Switch off the gas, an let pressure release on its own.
Here you go... Your delicious Veg Biryani is ready. Serve hot with papad, chutney,
onion and Achar.
