KASURI METHI -MALAI PANEER (COTTAGE CHEESE CURRY)



KASURI METHI -MALAI PANEER

Preparation Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 10 min
Serves : 4 ppl

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

Mustard Oil 1 tbsp
Ginger 1 inch (Finely Chopped)
Garlic 5-6 cloves (Finely chopped)
Onion 1 Medium size (Finely chopped)
Tomato Puree 3 medium size , blended in mixer
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Salt 2 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
Garam Masala ( All Spice Powder) 1 tsp
Paneer(Cottage Cheese) 250 gms( Cut in cubes)
Milk 1/2 Cup
Fresh Malai(or Cream) 1/2 Cup
Dry Fenugreek leaves ( Kasuri Methi) 1 tbsp


STEPS TO SUPER DELICIOUS KASURI METHI -MALAI PANEER

  1. Take a Kadhi , add 1 tbsp mustard oil in it.
  2. In the smoking hot oil , add garlic and ginger, Keep sauteing.
  3. As they change color to golden brown, add chopped onion.
  4. Saute a little, now add all the spices ( salt+turmeric powder+coriander powder + Red chilli powder +all spice powder )
  5. Quickly add tomato puree.
  6. Cook for 2 min, now add fresh malai( or cream) to the kadhai.
  7. Saute a little, add Paneer cubes and suger in it.
  8. Dilute the curry using Milk, little water can be added if required.
  9. Add Fenugreek leaves, just crush them between palms before adding.
  10. Cook for 5 min.
Indulge yourself in lip smacking methi-malai paneer curry. Pair it up with any bread of your choice.
