FOR CHILLA :

FOR FILLING:
Onions

Potatoes (Boiled) |
3 Medium Sized |

Mango Powder (Aamchur) |

Paneer(Cottage cheese) (Optional) |

STEPS TO DELICIOUS MOONG DAL CHILLA
1. Wash the soaked moong dal , rinse extra water and grind it into a smooth paste.
2. Adjust the consistency using water. ( We want cake batter consistency here)
3. Add all the spices salt+ red chilli powder+ turmeric + all spice powder(garam masala)
into the batter.
4. Our chilla batter is ready. Lets work on filling.
5. Add 1 tbsp oil in the pan.
6. Now add finely chopped Onion and ginger into it.
7. As it turns brown , add all the spices ( salt + Red chilli powder+ coriander powder+
Garam masala + cumin powder), Saute a little.
8. Now add potatoes into it . ( roughly mashed)
9. Give it a mix add mango powder and fresh coriander( if available) then cook for 5 min.
10. Heat non-stick tawa , grease it with ghee.
11. At medium flame, add a small portion on moong dal batter and spread it evenly just as
dosa batter.
12. Wait till it become golden form the bottom side,drizzle a little oil, now flip and cook for couple of min
from other side.
13. Put some filling in between , grate some paneer over it and roll it.
14. Pair it up with green chutney or tomato catch-up. Enjoy your delicious breakfast.
